. @ liam1955. Hi Liam thanks look forward to PM. Yeh I always do Xmas dinner ect & they stay over but as they've bought a house & done it lovely she wants to do dinner so as you say I always get pudding from m&s, with cherries, nuts, booze, I'll push to pay for turkey ect, I always give her money with her presents, usually channel perfume & eve st laurent mascara, so I'll give extra cash this year so as to cover some expense, sounds like your gonna have a busy Xmas, Richard must be very excited about Friday, think of all the baby sitting you'll be doing. Wish they'd check me for Vit B12, they don't seen interested, just gob me off. Anyway hope all goes well for Friday take care of yourselfs xOh @maureen5752 you poor thing, you are really having it bad of late. Just remember if you don't feel like eating? Drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated. I go off food completely when I am ill, so I just have cuppa soups - but as they are packets, got to watch the sugar content. But, then you know when ill blood sugars are going to go up slightly.
Oh that is really nice - your Daughter inviting you for Christmas Dinner, you could offer to buy the Christmas Pudding (M & S do a luxury one) and take some Wine for dinner.
R & I always have Christmas Dinner here at home, despite everyone inviting us, but, we go up to his Parents for Christmas Day Tea and his Daughter & Hubby and New Baby, his Ex-wife & Partner all there and we are all very civilised/proper. Only thing is, his Son whose at Cambridge University is not coming home to York this Christmas - he is spending it in London with Mates. (And why not? But, his Mum is not happy). Boxing Day we all (Family) go to the ex-wife's for "Burnt offerings"- Dinner!!
I will send the recipe to you in a PM later today - Cannot put it on Vegetarian Thread because of Smokey bacon in it = they will give me a telling off.
Richard's Daughter is due this Friday 21st to give birth. He is so excited like a big kid at being a Granddad.
William
P.S.. Forgot to say. Usually about once a year the blood is tested for Vitamin B12 deficiency. (Mine is anyway, cos I am Aneamic).
@eldergarth, hi sorry to hear things not been so good with you, hope things improve soon, I'm sending you a big hug as well, filling in forms drives me mental, but once you get it sorted & in the system it will be worth it hopefully, take care of yourself & don't overdo it. Let you know that f I need a rat catcher ha haHi @maureen5752 sorry your feeling under the weather sending you a massive warm hug to keep those chills out .
Been a little up and down myself lately Tina would probably say all my own fault for pushing myself to much and not listening to my body .
Getting stressed with all these forms and phone calls to sort the benefits out but it's all falling into place now .
Just need to get the seizures under control again just when I think I've got it controlled they come back and bite me in the bum .
Take care Maureen and keep up the fluids ( still loaded and ready for those pesky rats )
Sending all of you who are ill or just feeling ****** a great big warm Cumberland hug[/QUOTE. @ Cumberland. Evening to you Cumberland. Hope your well, did you watch your favourite programme Saturday? X factor?
@Liam1955 Thanks for recipe, sounds delicious, I'll try and cook it, but it means I'm gonna have to eat cheese again!!!! Still haven't ate any. Could always close my eyes. I don't know what's going on but had 3 kettles blow in 2 weeks, all fuses blew couple weeks ago & had to throw out all food in the freezer, don't know what's going onWell Done @mo53 - I am proud of you, back on the multiple lengths at the Swimming Baths. Are you going to tell us on here what your blood results are after Friday ? Or you can send me a PM and tell me - as you know I would never divulge any information = unless I was paid good money!!.
R Said the 'Low Fat Diet' was making me miserable and not a nice person to live with! So I have come off Low Fat - and get back to being Happy Me - Again.
Sounds as if you might need to get your wiring checked out, Maureen. Hugs xx@Liam1955 Thanks for recipe, sounds delicious, I'll try and cook it, but it means I'm gonna have to eat cheese again!!!! Your Christmas does sound very civilised, William! And I love the "burnt offerings" LOLOh @maureen5752 you poor thing, you are really having it bad of late. My neighbour had same problem few years ago with every kettle, have to go buy stove top kettle now & play safe. Have good day everyoneSounds as if you might need to get your wiring checked out, Maureen. Hugs xx
Did you test? LolGood Afternoon Folks.
I fasted from getting up until 2pm today, started feeling 'shaky' - as we were in the Wyevale Garden Centre decided to have a late lunch of Scampi, Chips and Peas, plus a Latte.
Did you test? Lol
@Liam1955 good for you Liam, bet those chips tasted lovely, hope you enjoyed them x
I'll give you a shock now Ron has tested just now .No. But as I had a fasting of 5.3 this morning - I "knew" the shakes was a warning sign - if I did not eat soon, I would go Hypo. Round about 3.8 is early warning system that I am going Hypo.
Only chips I've had in 2 yrs are sweet potatoe chips I cooked once & put some chilli flakes on, they tasted great, I love chips but never eat them nowThey tasted absolutely Yummy. (Never have or cook chips at home)
