Good Morning

@asparagusp - I am fine Thanks - S:).
Going out today to get a 'Big' bunch of Flowers for R's Mum and take her 80th Birthday Card to her. She wants all her presents tomorrow at the Family (18 in all) Celebration that's arranged for tomorrow. So, guess who's blood sugars are going to be raised?? It's the Desserts I cannot resist - especially the Banofee Pie with loads of Cream = Yum, Yum. - W:D

Just back from the dentist, no infection. The filling is okay but the tooth is a wee bit loose due to bone loss caused by plaque build up ..... The teeth hadn't been scaled for around 18 months ..... so she carried this out and said to use interdental brushes, which is better than dental floss. She prescribed mouth wash and wants me to return in three months.

That's good to know there is no infection. But, any explanation to the cause of the pain?
I do hope it settles now for you. W:).

25/2 - Good Morning from a wet and rainy York. Hugs sent to all the poorly people = Hope you are feeling a little better @debrasue :). And everyone else enjoy your day:).

Morning all, I'm off to Rugby today to visit a friend. I hope the trains are running OK! Hugs to all the poorly peeps

A late Good Morning! The pain is slightly less and constant. I haven't taken any Panadol since 11.30 pm. However another high fasting reading. I only had a cup of cocoa, a scrambled egg, a croissant, homemade tomato soup and a few raspberries yesterday.

A build up of plaque causes pain and of course treatment can continue the pain as the gums are highly irritated. I have had this before and it took at least a couple of weeks for things to die down.

This was preventable and hopefully a lesson to me. Oral hygiene is the way to go!

I'm sure you will keep your new oral hygiene routine up. I hope the soreness goes quickly.
You have just reminded me I need to rebook mine. Feel sorry for dentist I have more meds to be added to my history. Mind u tramadol might help me in such cases? We'll see.
I too need a deep clean.

I had been thinking about a cleaning recently as the filling had been done six months ago and the dentist (a different one) then said she wanted things to settle before cleaning. I still haven't felt the need to take Panodol today although there is still niggling pain as I speak! My appointments diary is filling up quickly with all these medics! lol Have a lovely evening!

Okay I now have another ritual! Brush my teeth, use my wee "chimney sweeps" and swoosh the strongest mouthwash ever around my mouth just before bed! lol Time consuming!
