Good Morning

Morning everyone, it's cloudy at the moment but brightening up later. Hope everyone has a nice relaxing Bank Holiday
 
Good morning everyone, just off for my morning walk in April showers. It's very still here, people must still be asleep. I love it when the world is quiet like this, hope everyone has a similarly peaceful and relaxing day today.

Morning @Liam1955, morning all . Ron's woke up with pins and needles. The following are symptoms he usually gets ..... pins and needles, chest pains shortness of breath, jaw ache, unable to swallow, swelling in lower legs , he stutters , pain from arthritis, and lumps are appearing from under the skin mainly on his hands , wrists and arms but occasionally on other parts of the body .
 
@tina_marie - The Chest Pains, Shortness of Breath and does Ron have pain in his jaw? and down the side of his Neck? (Is the pain all on one side of his body?)

Not sure about neck but chest pain is centre of chest , shortness of breath can come on at anytime jaw aches when eating . He also gets sweats has muscle spasms and as you know he has muscle weakness. We've had a letter from cardiology and he got to wait for appointment for an echocardiogram and scan. His memory loss is still there also. His left side does cause problems .
 
@tina_marie - Just that Heart Attack symptoms differ from person to person. And if it was me I would not think twice about going down to A & E and getting checked out or if you are still concerned - call the paramedics/ambulance and they would most likely perform an ECG and the result from this would tell them if he is having or had a Heart Attack.

He had an Ecg when we went to see the cardiologist which showed him to be slightly tachycardic he then went on to have a blood test .
 
@tina_marie - was Blood Test Results all satisfactory?
So, he is now just waiting for Echocardiogram?
You both must be so weary and sick to the teeth, not knowing what the Hell is going on after such a long time.

The signs were all there last year. On diagnose of diabetes Ron was asked if he had anymore problems he told the nurse in a&e that he was getting pins and needles but was told it was nothing . Then March last year suffered from fatigue which he still gets , in April last year had muscle weakness where he couldn't get out the bath had x ray where in May found he had osteoarthritis in the hips . In July had maculopathy in one eye , then August had MRI scan when he got told he had osteoarthritis in spine , then day after MRI started to have spasms . Then swollen lower legs by October he was retired from work due to all this . Memory loss wasn't far behind now these lumps under skin that break through. At Christmas he was told he had pleurisy which to my mind I don't think it was . Breathing and swallowing trouble in new year sweating even when just sat down . Gp thought it was angina which cardiologist has ruled out . Letter from cardiologist says he has an enlargement on right side of heart. Blood test was to see if anything had broken off to cause blockage .Ron reminded me at Christmas that from the off I said he was facing more than diabetes , just for once I wish I could of been proven wrong. All this waiting isn't helping matters . Been chatting with Vicky over weekend .

Good morning all my friends this morning I have my first appointment with the new replacement Diabetes nurse,it will be my since I was diagnosed back in October 2016(6 months) the original one left a day,enjoy your day after I was diagnosed,I wonder what her view on Low carb high fat diet will be,enjoy your day:)
 
Hope you don't mind my moan this morning!

I'm knackered. Too tired to take my meds. Twinges in my chest and swollen tummy.
I've struggled to take my meds on the hope swelling bogs off and I get some energy.
I need a shower and this afternoon I have to pick up insulin from hospital to carry me over til new insulin change over then straight to physio. Ha ha she'll be lucky if I don't collapse! She can see how hard my mobility problem is distressing me, I guess. Its tempting to cancel but unless they see for themselves my word doesn't seem good enough. I do feel for her but we are still on hold til cardiologist investigates thoroughly. It will be over soon, I keep telling myself.

I'm ready and took my meds. Leaving soon.
Have grocery shopping to do after 2 commitments :( God help me! Alot of walking and waiting then shopping. I need someone's help to do this. Looking to you know who @13lizanne .
