Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful, sunny day and I'm just off for my walk. Wanted to say good day to all before I go out. Trust it will be a happy, healthy day for us all
 
Morning all, even though it's a bit warm for my liking (15 degrees!) I'm going to be out and about today. A has just left for his new voluntary job and won't get back til about 3 so I have to adjust my normal routine. Sometimes I think I like a routine just as much as he does!

Morning all, I'm off out in a minute - it's yarn shop day today so I'm off over to Sutton Coldfield. A is quite happy with a cupboard full of munchies, his PlayStation and the cat!

Morning peeps. It's a gloomy start to the day in S Glos this morning, but I'm hoping it may brighten up later. (If I can manage to stay awake that long, as I have been awake since 1am. One of those mind-in-overdrive nights. )
Ah well, at least it's Sunday so I don't have to do much and can just potter...
I think I may just sit in the garden with a cup of coffee and watch the birds for a while. They are very busy feeding chicks right now, and it's most entertaining to watch all the activity - they will literally come right to my feet if I put some live mealworms out for them. I have to be a bit cautious, though, because I've already had a couple of them in the kitchen if they think I'm being a bit slow, and then they panic and can't find their way out again!
There's a baby rabbit living at the bottom of the garden, and he's pretty entertaining to watch, too - he nibbles grass for a while, and then hurtles around the garden a few times, before nibbling some more grass.
Has anybody heard anything from @ellagy lately, by the way?
 
Morning all, I'm refreshed, relaxed and thoroughly skint after yesterday @13lizanne I think you must have got our sunshine - my cousin posted a picture on Facebook of Edinburgh in glorious sunshine! Even though it was grey and cloudy I definitely got my exercise in - 20,950 steps for the day!

It was thanks, I was naughty and treated myself to a cheese scone in John Lewis on the way back. It's been ages since I had one!

Morning everyone, it's cloudy and cooler today but I don't mind - I'm off to visit my lovely mum! I got some bookshelves for her so I'm going to put them together this afternoon. Hope everyone has a good day
 
Lady luck is in my favour at last - not one but 2 people emailed me yesterday asking to speak to me about a couple of jobs I applied for! I'm doing a course next week for the DWP and when I spoke to one of the employers he said he would meet me at the course venue instead of me travelling halfway across the city. Good sign!
