Good Morning

We started off with high winds, lashing rain and general gloomy weather but now have sunshine. It's still windy but hubby and I have just enjoyed a brisk 45min walk in the woodland behind our house, it was too muddy to walk round the loch as it's overflowing in places but it was so good to get out and about. Hope everyone's having a good day.

I don't know about idyllic, the motorway passes the end of our village! but it is very beautiful, Edinburgh and Glasgow are both less than 30 miles away, we're right in the middle of central Scotland. The Highlands are less than 1hr away and the Borders less than 2hrs so we are ideally situated for almost everywhere in Scotland. We take around 3 hrs to come down to Scarborough orslightly more to Rhyll

I live just outside the city of York (by the Racecourse) on the main approach (A64) into the city - direct road to Scarborough @mo53 too!! Both my parents were Scottish and I still have Aunts, Uncles and many Cousins scattered around in Scotland, and I do get up there every couple of years to visit.:)

Just been out for a walk - breezy and grey but dry. A bit of a contrast to yesterday.

More croaking and sploshing yesterday evening and (a bit) more spawn this morning. Hot Frog! :D
