in my belly...of for my run:). A bit grey still... But forecast to be quite sunny and 19 deg today.

No gardening today!

Church, then a National Trust to see how the pros do it:)

7.1Fbg this AM. Only 4 sausages last night, but homemade and a gift - wonder if they were stuffed with carbs? Ah well will fast most of the day to rectify. :)

Enjoy your day:)

'Morning, peeps!
It's a beautiful, sunny morning in S Glos this morning and the birds are all tweeting fit to bust!
We're preparing for an influx of Tiny Terrorists this morning, as their mum and dad are off to darkest Essex for a couple of days to celebrate their wedding anniversary in peace and quiet, so the girls are staying with us until Tuesday evening.
I am filled with joy and horror in equal measure! Lexi has stayed with us many times, but Lily hasn't and her back teeth are also currently breaking through, so I'm not anticipating much sleep. :(
Ah well, been here before (30 years ago!), so how hard can it be?

Break out the Bonjela and Cowpol:)

29/5/16 - Good Morning from a dull and grey skies in York. Hope everyone is well and you all enjoy your day.:)

Good morning from a warm but still cloudy Central Scotland.
Update - now we have blazing sunshine and it's very hot. Just back from a walk in our local country park and want to take another cool shower! Hubby and I are off again for a 7 mile walk after lunch as both our older sons are on holiday so we have the day to ourselves( which is very unusual. ) With my fair lowland Celtic complexion I'm wearing long sleeved top, sunhat, long cotton trousers and factor 50 for protection. Hubby has highland colouring so has polo shirt and shorts and looks like he's been in Brazil for the last month, he's so brown!! Genetics- huh!

Lots of love to Mum Barbara and to you of course (back soon once I've got hubby trained to stop following me about like a lost lamb)

Still very overcast and cold:( so not gone to National Trust. I think it's into the garden to manhandle the final couple of tons of pebbles. Good temp for that type of work:)

Lol lots of love to you Anna, mum was asking how Hubby's retirement is going. We were both wondering if he's driving you potty yet :)

In a word - yes! I do adore my hubby, we've been married over 40yrs - (I was a child bride of course) - he has only me to tell what to do now and is doing just that. He and I are working out our new routines, read " R is deciding what WE will do every minute of the day" but we're laughing together about it all. I might be able to snatch a minute or two a few times each day to come onto the forum now we've put our first week in :) I'm missing the banter

I retired early, so,hopefully more years together, but as you know...potentially a lot more years under Yvonne's feet...so she puts me out in the garden just s out every day. Good job I love it:)

Good morning from a warm Central Scotland (bit of an oxymoron there!)
Sun not out yet but hot and sunny forecast for later on today. Laundry in machine, off out for our morning walk in the woods behind our house. Have a great day everyone.

Morning all on this grim, grey morning in Cambridge:). I didn't want to go for a run, but I did:). Getting ready for my Monday massage and then resistance training in gym. Defo no gardening today. Have a lovely day folks.

Morning everyone and wishing you all a great day. Cloudy here at the moment and I have an eye test at Boots today, 10.15.

Morning folks, it's a bit gloomy at the moment but warm and sunny later. We're weather twins Anna! I'm going to go for my traditional walk into town later but at the moment I'm catching up with my friends on the forum with a cuppa. Hope everyone has a good day

Good morning all Sun doing its best to appear here in Lancashire this morning, was so hot here yesterday looks like it will be hot again today. Washing out going to tackle the ironing now then relaxing in garden for the rest of the day with a book. Then there may be a couple of grandchildren turning up as usual for breakfast or dinner, never a dull moment.

30/5/16 - Good Morning from a grey, dismal York. (Was the same yesterday, but Sun came out late afternoon and it was a glorious evening) We are going to a 90th Birthday T-Party this afternoon of a gardening Friend (Retired Headmistress).
Hope everybody is in good health and you all enjoy your Bank Holiday. :)
