Good Morning

Good morning all, another dull morning here today in Lancashire today, forecast is a bit mixed today, but never mind a good day to tackle all my daughters ironing this afternoon, with 4 children its never ending. Apart from the school run there and back this is my exercise for today.

Hi Robinredbreast, glad you enjoyed it, my sister and I love it too. We have a motown sunday once a month here in Lancashire .

Wow, that's fantastic, lucky you :). In the village I work in , I have seen posters for Motown/Soul nights, on a Saturday night. I could get the bus there, 8 miles, but it's getting home that would of been the problem, as I don't drive, but now, I have someone to go with who likes the same and he drives:happy:

Good for you. You go and enjoy yourself it lifts the spirits tremendously.

If I had Dizzy and Dory with me, we would probably get into everywhere free, now there's a thought :)
The last music they listened too was folk music, they fell asleep and the poor little things still haven't woken up :singing::wideyed::eek:

Are Dizzy and Dory real peeps? I thought they were just a picture you'd found.......

Good morning from a bright and bit cloudy Lancashire not sure what the day will bring. Off shopping in a bit for last minute holiday clothes. Have a good day everyone. :)

It's No 2 granddaughter's birthday today - she's 2. I'm going to ring her on FaceTime in a minute to sing the birthday song to her, which should be fun! She loves the birthday song, LOL. They're all coming over for tea and I have a Curly the Caterpillar cake for her. :)

You enjoy your day Debra with your family my eldest grandchild is 26yrs and I still sing Happy Birthday to all 11 of them yet, the older ones do get a bit embarrassed but I will always sing it to them as long as I am here. :):)
 
Morning folks, it's nice and bright here but showers are expected for this afternoon. Typical, I'm visiting mum again today! At least today will be nice and relaxing, mum has a 3D jigsaw of a carousel and we're trying to finish it today. Mum's partially sighted and has nerve damage in her fingertips so even though she loves jigsaws they can be quite challenging for her

Morning William, hope you're not in too much pain - I'm creaking and groaning a bit from my walk yesterday! My avatar is nearly the same as my facebook one but slightly different. A took my forum picture first then a friend took one of both of us which ended up being my Facebook pic. Well spotted!
 
28/6/16 - Good Morning from another Sunny day in York:). But we have rain due at lunchtime and it is forecast to be for the rest of the day. (the garden needs a drink)
Taking R out for a Afternoon Creamed Tea (it's his Birthday - 55 today) and also treating his Mum & Dad too, as an extra treat for Mother & Fathers Day. @Diamum5972 - Good Morning, It's a joy to see a smiley face Barbara :), not a lot of people know how to smile these days! Hope Everybody is well and enjoy the day.:) @13lizanne - Anna have a fab time and get together with your Siblings too:happy: And has anyone heard from @mo53? Do hope she is well.

Lovely in Cambridge this morning. Run complete, garden done and now watching BBC News channel and it's only 10.15am:)

I still sing it to my kids and they're on the downward slide towards 40 now (although nowadays they actually quite enjoy it again!). I sang to my son-in-law a couple of weeks ago and he put his phone on loudspeaker in the gym, and they all enjoyed it too! (Well, he said they did...)
