good news at three month check up

Hi all, I am really pleased, had my first check up today, three months after diagnosis with t2. My HBAC at diagnosis was 9.3, now its 7.3, my Cholesterol was 6 and after treatment with a statin its now 3.2! BP still a bit high at 143/83 but at diagnosis it was 165/97 and weight down by only 1 st 9 whcih I am disappointed at. However, overall I am happy. Need to carry on working at the HBAC as nurse said I am still borderline for medication, have another month to improve bp or the tablets will beckon.

Think more exercise is the answer!!

Fantastic! You're an example to us all. I think a lot of us wish to reap the rewards of exercise but getting the motivation can be hard!
