I had my three month check with the nurse this morning, blood unrine, height, weight, feet check etc, also had the pnuemonia jab.

Nurse well pleased as I've lost nigh on two stone since October and no sugar or protein showing in my water, I have to wait for the HB1ac results but it looks good so far. She says whatever it is your doing, keep it up.

So I'm well chuffed :D I have a medical for a new job tommorow which I failed once already in Oct which lead to the diagnosis, nurse says the sugar not showing in my urine today, if same tommorrow I should pass (they don't do blood) Weight loss will also look good for me too.

From the Nurse I went for my usual run about five miles, and I usuallly keep a rough time of it. Did my best time ever today of thirty four minutes, thats four minutes off my average so all in all a good day so far and its only 1030. :D :D

Great news Cameraman. Hope it works out well tomorrow and for your HbA1c.

Regards, Tubs.

Good luck for tomorrow Cameraman - hope it goes well this time.

Well I got the result back today of the HB1ac test 5.9 so I'm well pleased. The low GI diet, cutting down a little on carbs and exercise is working for me. So thats the course I'm going to keep following. It includes rice and pasta at least once a week in good sized portions too. No bread or potatoes at all though.
