I'm looking for good snack ideas. I'm sick of cheese and meat it seems that's all I can think of. Things to eat in between the two hour before your blood sugar test. As I said in a previous post I'm so hungry all the time. My resistance gets low and then I grab a biscuit then I can't take my BS. I'm finding this very hard no willpower that's my trouble.

1 Handful of raw unsalted nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pistachios ( but be careful not to overdo it as full of calories
2. Fruit such as apple
3. Yoghurt and frozen berries
4. Raw vegetables such as celery, artichoke kohlrabi carrot cucumber
5 Crisproll

One solution can be to eat proper meals instead. Eat until you feel full and if your food contains enough fat that will keep you going without snacks until your next meal. A proper meal should contain at least 700 calories, imo, preferably more, and at least 50 grams of fat, preferably more of that too. And if you don't feel full, have some cheese as afters.

A strong coffee (no sugar) is a great appetite suppressor, whether its healthy choice is open to debate but it works for me every time. Have heard it can raise BS but not for me. A more heathy choice would be a quorn mini scotch egg, little sugar but around 5 grams of carb.
