Raw tomatoes and arrogant people.
Just tested myself, 3 hours after having eaten, couldnt do 2 as i was at work and got a figure of 4.8!!!!!

All ive done is cut out the carbs and been performing some strenuous excercise felling trees etc for work. I cant believe it, this is the lowest figure ive ever achieved. Must be doing something right.

i get some amazing results sometimes.
I dropped the meds and went back to diet and exercise.
Tested before a meal after a busy day literally running around.
4.2!
With an hba1c of 5.3 i always wondered if i got low results cos i never seen anything like 5.3 in my usual testing (7's out of bed and 6's before meals)

I sense my sugar level rises just prior to me sticking the lancet in.

Neil,

i can only think it could be the excercise and low carb diet cos when i was originally diagnosed in July last year whenever i tested it was 13.8 most of the time. My Hba1c was 6.5 last month and i reccon i will be able to reduce that in the next few months. Need a bit of luck, dog died on New Years Eve and last Wednesday had a chimney fire, now need a new chimney :(
