Mmm, the higher the number per 100g, eg 20 per 100g, the faster your blood will absorb it, and generally the worse it is for you. Even if lowish per 100g it then depends on total weight as to actually how much sugar is there. But, that is a bit pointless as need to look at total carbs (sugar) really.

sorry in new to this. So when a product says carbohydrate of which sugar is irrelevent. Its the carbs then sorry to appear thick
 
Yes and no lol. Of which sugar is only the amount of pure refined sugar added to the food. The carb total includes the added refined sugar but also the amount of sugar already in the product.
But, as a guide if the of which sugar is close to the total amount of carbs, indicates that there is alot of processed sugar been added, see the label on jam, and wil very quickly hit your bloods
