Back in October my Hba1c score was 52. My doctor upped me to 2 Metformins a day as my level had slowly been increasing over the years. He said go for another test in January
I came out of there feeling that I really needed to start kicking some Diabetes butt, so made the decision to change my diet. I wouldn't of said I was the world healthiest eater back then, but certainly wasn't the worse
Anyway so after a lot of research on here I decided the LCHF diet was the way to go. I knew it was going to be a challenge but decided to stick with it.
So roll on to present day, I have lost about 1 .5 stones and dropped a waist size. Just got back from the Docs and my new Hba1c score was...................................39!!!!
Well chuffed to say the least. I put part of my success to this forum and all the valuable advice that I've read. I'm of to have a cheese omelette to celebrate!
