Great places to eat

I went there for lunch in 2022 and had a very nice conversation with the owner, who was very curious about the results of his food on my Libre graph.
I loved eating out at a place where I didn't have to factor in diabetes in making a choice on what to order. They only sell low carb foods and drinks.
The whole place is gluten free as well, which must be heaven for celiacs, no risk of cross contamination.

Two years later I went back, and the owner remembered I was from the Netherlands and a moderator on a diabetes forum!

Dishoom does a very nice whole chicken... they think its for 4 but I did nearly manage all of it.
The Big Easy is good for meats. Haven't been for a while but the mixed grill on their set lunch was very reasonable for the price

Thanks for this. I can’t remember the last time I had lobster.
 
And McDonald's, my go to for quick cheap lunch. Double cheese burger (nothing fancy down bottom of menu). Throw away the bun, eat with fingers and a pile of napkins, £2.48. Beef, salt cheese simples

Well it’s not expensive and I have done it at several different burger chains when short on time
