It's been suggested that drinking green tea could help lower blood sugar levels? Does anyone know if there is any truth in this? Or if green tea is bad for diabetics???

They say it does help but I'm not so sure that green tea alone would lead to weight loss. I drink it because I enjoy it and if it has other health benefits then all the better, just make sure you buy a good quality green tea if you do decide to drink it, some of the supermarket brands taste like dishwater.

I've been trying a lot of different teas lately but not tried Green Tea yet. I did read somewhere that it could help with BG control, but I'm not sure if this would be true.

I drink a lot of green tea (3 or 4 cups a day), and whilst doing it I've lost a lot of weight, however, I'd say the amount of benefit that the green tea has had in this is minimal. I put it down to diet and exercise.

It certainly hasn't helped with lowering blood sugar levels as a T1.

I drink green tea and have recently taken do 4 cups a day of holy basil tulsi tea. I like the taste. Don't know if will help with weight loss.
