Hi I'm Mal and I live in Shetland.
I am T2 and on a bolus lantus regime. Inject lantus twice daily and use a novorapid pen 3 times daily.
Tho I was diagnosed in 2009 I have only started using insulin in the last 6 months. Last year my appendix burst and that was when I was put on insulin injections. I was injecting 130 units 3 times daily but after a 5 day stay in hospital I am now on 45 units 3 times a day plus the lantus injections PM & AM.
I will post more about myself as time goes on.
