Not a newbie Diabetic by any means but new to this site.
First Diagnosed 2003
I had been sufferiing from micro sleeps for at least a year before that. Got really bad when coming back from a long journey and I woke up with a start after straying from the inside lane to the outside lane on a duel carrigaway. OOps. Pulled obver slapped my face to wake myself up and carried on. Bit of a shocker.
Since being on meds (Type 2) I have been great. Still get tired but no more needing matchsticks to prop open my eyes. The reason I am looking at this forum is that I am newly diagnosed with one of the Diabetes complications of Angina. I am waiting for an Angiogram which is due before the end of the month - scary!!
A bit about myself
