Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I know the Libre 2 is variable in accuracy.
However I check out each sensor with a finger prick or two when I start it, then again after a while.
This one started a little high but is now giving me low glucose warnings.

I read a 3.5.
So I checked with a finger prick and read again to record the results.
Sensor 3.9
Finger prick 6.3.

Just had an alarm for a reading of 3.4.
I've turned low glucose alarms off for the moment.

I think this is the first time I've had such a low reading without a fairly close low from finger prick; roughly a 3.5 reads as a 4.5 on the finger.

Irritating because I've just started a new medication and I thought I was doing really well. :banghead:

5 days left on the sensor so I shall see how it goes.
Reluctant to return in to Abbott assuming that they are even open over the holidays.

I’m on libre 1 & 4 of the last 5 have been reading high, usually about 1 first thing then 2.5 or 3.5 for the rest of the time, Abbott were open this morning when I phoned for yet another replacement

I’ve ended up having all but about 2 sensors replaced since the beginning of September - they either stop working or start giving ridiculous readings.

I still like the info it gives me - better than all that finger pricking. I found it really difficult reverting back to finger pricking when I ran out of sensors and was waiting for a replacement.
