Guinness?

Hi guys I'm going to a wedding and have stopped drinking alcohol however I will be having a couple
Now somebody told me guiness has a low sugar content does anybody know if this is true or what drink does have a low sugar content

It's total carbs not just the sugars you need to be aware of - it's almost 20g of carbs a pint

You would be better off with a couple of glasses of red wine or dry white, spirits (not liqueurs) with diet or slimline mixer - no carbs at all but everything has calories

My Irish friend used to say Guinness was liquid food and a true liquid lunch lol

Thanks for the reply I tend to stay away from spirits as I end up steaming swaring that I'm not drunk but the wine sounds good
