Type 1 Gym, Bodybuilding, Weight Lifting And Diets, Supplements Etc

Hi fellow Funky Diabetics! I am a type one diabetic and I would really like to make contact with fellow type one diabetics who are bodybuilders and in to weight training. I am keen to give this a go and I would like to ask some questions about diets, training plans and diabetic safe and effective supplements. If you have can and are willing to share some advice on this please do get in touch. Many thanks in advance.
 
@Sam18672 Hi and welcome to the forum. I can't help with the bodybuilding though my grandson is in to it he is not diabetic.

Just for your information it is not considered wise to post your email address on the open forum so I suggest you edit your post and remove it as if a moderator comes across it and they will they will remove it any way. If any one has info for you they can always private message you any way.

Im type 1 and i go to the gym 5 times a week i drink protien shakes only on the days i go to the gym and i eat a high protien diet and drink plenty of water my glucose levels are in perfect range its just trial and error to see whats right for you everyones different :)

Hi, thanks for the info. What type of work outs do you do at the Gym?
