Have you guys heard of GYMNEMA SYLVESTRE EXTRA? It's a one-a-day supliment that is said to control blood sugar.

Gymnema sylvestre is also known as the sugar destroyer and it has been known to also stimulate beta cells in the pancreas.
I'm not familiar with that particular supplement, but there are plenty of herbal suppliers like swanson who do gymnema in supplement form.
Note it takes a month or so for any noticable effect.
I used to take it, but I've moved onto an alternative.

I am interested that you have moved on to an alternative. Having just purchased Gymnema Sylvestre I will try it but would also like further info, if you are willing, about the alternative and whether you moved to improve effectiveness of blood sugar lowering or maybe you found something at a lower cost? Thanks.

Fenugreek , flax oil,and plenty of vitamin D.
I will perhaps go back to Gymnema but it's expensive given the recommended doses for Diabetes.
