This has never happened to me before, but it's almost an hour after my lunch and I've just had a reading of only 3.0
Is this something to worry about?
I feel fine but this has alarmed me as I've not ever had a low reading like this!
Anyone know if I should be concerned?
Thank you

Did you retest ? sometimes a faulty teat strip can read lower or higher than it should

Yes ... I did retest and it was 6.1 so I am extremely relieved! I've never had a faulty test strip before! I feel foolish now for getting in such a panic ... thanks for advising me to retest

Glad you tested again and you're ok :)

I sometimes re-test if it comes up higher than I'd like . . . in the hope it's going to be a bit lower  Most test strips and machines, I believe, allow for + or - either way. And if in doubt, get that testing kit back out!

Pleased your ok ... its scary first time it happens .. but just do a second test ... I also have a second meter to do third tests with if things are not as expected :)
