Had a fall today

That's ok. My brain feels like that a lot at the moment. Possibly codeine induced, possibly just cos I'm blonde, who knows.

May try the soluble ones when my current packet runs out
 
Thanks guys, definitely no decorating for a little while anyway lol until wrist is fully recovered, Talking of a recovery, my teenage daughter is cooking our dinner tomorrow :eek:and its gammon steaks :)lol
How are you mrs B, I hope the soluble tablets help out with the pain, when and if you still need them. Hope you are taking good care.
My ribs on left side still hurt and my wrist does too.:inpain: I go for a third appointment on Tuesday morning at the fracture clinic, so hopefully this time, something can be done. Goodnight :)

Is your arm still as swollen as it was or has it gone down a bit now?
 
I think the swelling has gone down a little thanks, I will try and upload a new photo to compare.
 
Horrible high blood sugars this afternoon, 14.9 took a correction dose of 3 1/2 units and its now gone up to 16.5 :eek: oh dear. :(

Looks like it has gone down but still looks swollen and painful. Are you resting it enough? Were the drs happy with how it is healing?

Hi mrs B, how are you keeping and is the leg causing you any more pain? hope your weekend has been a good one :)

Yes, it's still painful at times, but not excruciating. I have another letter from 2nd apt , and doctor isn't overly concerned, and hopefully if the swelling is still going down and the bones are in a satisfactory position they can then' continue conservative management' The diagnosis is a Comminuted distal radial fracture, which means a number of the bones are broken in wrist, 3rd apt TUESDAY 9.25 am. Take care :)
 
I'm not too bad now. Pain is easing each day. Got my 2 week show and tell appointment on Wednesday morning where I'll finally get a look at the post surgery damage and re xrayed etc. was a bit fuzzy when I spoke to the surgeon afterwards so I'm not sure what they had to do, how many screws and plates, stitches etc. bit nervous about what I'm going to see
