and it was great, we discussed all sorts of things, the interaction of carbs and insulin and how to make my diet and meds meet my lifestyle.

She basically said anyway I want to live can be accomodated especially as I don't really eat carbs unless excercising.

A good experience and suprising given the bad things I've read before.

Excellent Antlockyer

Enlightend dietician eh, whatever next, great stuff.

Was this through your GP/the NHS? I'm jealous, all mine cared about was 'the diet plate' and how much of things I should be eating. Needless to say, I cancelled the 2nd appointment, as the previous 10mins one was a waste of time.

Although you say nutritionist - is she a dietician AND nutritionist? Maybe that's why she's showing understanding of how things work, and working with you and your lifestyle. I saw one years ago (private, not NHS), and she was fantastic too. I'm saving up for another appointment, as would be a lot more use than the NHS dietician!
