Had some good news today

Our DSN emailed to say that Jess' pump has arrived. We have a meeting with her and the pump rep on 15h Dec and they'll set Jess up on saline so she can get some practice living with and working the pump. DSN is then away until the new year so we'll go onto insulin at the beginning of Jan.
 
Fantastic news! I never had the saline test run (it wasn't offered), but can imagine that it is a good idea for a young girl. best of luck for teh 15th Dec.

Thanks, we're really excited :)

Our DSN felt that a saline run would also help the staff at Jess' school to become comfortable with her using the pump.
