Halloumi

How do you prepare the halloumi? I've never used it but I get the impression from lots of posts that it's not like other cheeses and you can do more with it?

Best look it up on you tube, its dead simple to prepare tastes great .

We usually put it on the griddle pan to cookit/heat it up.

I suppose it can also be done in an ordinary frying pan?

It does and makes an awful squeak noise when you chew it, I can't stand it but my youngest loves haloumi cheese.

Yeah it does make a bit of a squeak when you eat it. I hadn't tried it until a couple of years ago but love it now.

It does taste nice, you should try it at least once.

My lg loves it! We fry it or if we are having oven roasted veg then I stick it in the oven. But it does taste best on a griddle pan
