Hand injury

I had an injury to my hand in April, I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 months ago. But injury to my hand is not getting any better, I’m getting this burning and sharp pain in the back of my hand between the first and middle finger. ?
 
I did have a X-ray when I first did it but the report was no broken bones, but because I’m still in pain I went to see trauma and orthopaedic doctor and she said there’s probably nerve damage and she said she thinks I had a small facture
