Handbag snacks

Kellogg's Special K bars are fairly robust. I always have an 'emergency one' in my handbag. It can be there weeks before I need to eat it, either because of a hypo or because its got a bit swished :-)

Just seen this one in another thread.
Don't recommend keeping the cheese with them though!

I'm a very low carber but I always have a supply if Kallo rice cakes which come in at 5 carbs per slice. Yes, it is a lot BUT they are really chunky and satisfying especially with a thick slice id cheese on them!! Out of all the crackers available this is the one I'd have, and just one really hits the spot!

Thanks Douglas, and everyone else.

On a long-haul last week, the breakfast included a couple of rice cakes, with a mini pat of butter, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. As I have also given up butter, it was such a treat; even though it was a pat about the size of a 3 x £1 coins piled onto each other.

To be fair, this most recent flight had the best in-flight meal by far.

I still need to have the handbag snacks available though, and now have some decent, and convenient ideas.
