All the kiddies will be out trick and treating tonight .

What are you doing to celebrate this if anything ?

Me and hubby are off to see Riverdance show .
Been booked since febuary this year .
Our date night out together - even after 31 years of marriage

Great show Anna, seen the video but not the live show.

Nothing planned as the kids are all grown up now, we bought some sweets in just in case we get some trick or treaters at the door, other than that it will be just a nice meal in with a bottle of Merlot wine
 
I have a 2 year old and 5 year old so will be out with the oldest............

just going round all his friends doors as fortunately our street is full of kids..........

after that a quite night in with the misses.........
 
Daughter and friend might go trick or treating in our local street, if they get back from a day out in Bournemouth in time.
I am hoping not to answer the door too often tonight, but have sweets ready if the children do knock.
Also, I am going to slow cook a fish curry for tonight and make a bread pudding, my teenager loves this <3 but I haven't made it for such a long time, so a treat for her and friends

Nope not answering. I live on an estate full of little and not so little *******. Luckily my door is hidden round the back in the very dark car park. So hopefully no one will be at my door.

Just been to my local market earlier .
All the stall holders are dressed up for Halloween .
All were in high jinx spirits and full of scarey fun .

Young , middle age and older (should know better )
As these older ones were the worst at it too .
Flapping around in their capes WOOOING away at folk !
Well funny to watch and see them like this ...
 
My wife has got lots of bags of haribo's jellies at the door. I used to finish them all off at the end oof the evening but now I will have one bag at most. Although I might see what 5 does (just for the sale of science )
 
Had a day out,lovely weather,had fish and chips in Gravesend,then sat by the river and watched the ships go into Tilbury docks.
Got sweets for childrenif they come tonight ,

Lovely to hear from you Pat, sounds like a lovely day I love the water and watching the ships and boats go by how are you? getting about okay ?

I'm going to be celebrating 4 years of retirement. I'm sure there are some I worked with who thought Oct 31st was an appropriate date to leave. It's gone so quickly. I'm picking up a friend who's over from Portugal, we're going to do a zumba class followed by fish and chips. She says it's the only thing she misses in Portugal so when she comes over we make sure we get a portion in.
 
I used to love giving out candy to all the kids (and eating it in between answering the door!). However, the very sweet little Westie in my avatar would be highly stressed by all the doorbell-ringing, so we'll be turning the lights down low and hiding out.

Im fine RRB thank you,getting about with one stick,according to a blood test I have got some infection,dont know what ,to have another in December,I had hoped to visit family in Abu Dhabi before Christmas.

Grew up on the river watching the boats. The river was always full of ships when I was a nipper. Sadly since the early eighties the river is not utilised as it should be!
