Hi
I have had hard skin underneath my left foot (under the little toe and the one next to it) for a long time. I have had a far amount of numbness in that area, mainly when in bed.
Has anyone used anything to remove really stubborn hard skin?
I use a pumice stone in the bath and also a scholl battery operated foot file. I use a foot cream and put some cotton socks in, go to bed and my feet are lovely and soft in the morning.

My chiropodist and podiatrist stopped me from using the scroll battery operated rotary ‘file’ possibly because I seem to have diabetic neuropathy and it’s possible to damage my feet without realising. Recommended to use only hand tools like pumice stone or sandpaper like files - and moisturise and use certain urea contained creams..
And classed me as medium risk of foot issues - and checking feet each day was priority but should I get cuts or damage or bruising of feet then they could increase it to high risk… the cream seems to have helped the hard painful skin… tremendously…
