Carbs demand carbs... And they really are an addiction to kick. (With withdrawal symptoms and everything!). So it's no surprise the first period of adjustment is a hard one, really. And when you're told you can't have something, the more you want it. ;) Just have stuff around you can use to scratch the itch without carb-loading. Feeling peckish? Have a mug of tea instead. Pecan nuts, olives, cheeses, some full fat greek yoghurt with berries, cold cuts... Anything that is filling and reduces any true hunger you might have, and takes away the craving. Also, there's low carb varieties of things like bread, wraps and what have you... If you can't quite do without, you might want to look those up at your local supermarket. They're pricey, but they're there. And who knows, if you google keto fat bombs, you might be pleasantly surprised at the options. It would indeed be helpful if we knew what you're currently eating and drinking on an average day. And you might want to consider this; have you lowered your carbs really drastically? Because while I'm an all-or-nothing person, others prefer to go slow and reduce in stages. Find out what would work for you.
