Has anyone been given 25% extra time for exams (GCSEs or A levels)?

"Special Consideration" is very useful when a subject has two exams and course work, but a student gets a medical problem in only one of the exams (or towards the end of an exam). Results from mock exams can also sometimes be taken into account.

"supervised rest breaks" can be combined with extra time, and in practice must be if a student get more then 50% extra time on a 3hr exam. However I don't see how more then 25% extra time could be justified based on diabetes.

It used to be that anyone got 25% extra time "just for asking" unless it was clear there was no possible justification, but I don't know how hard it is to get these days.

Another issue to consider is a smartphone being used for CGM etc, will need a lot of control and supervision.
