I'll get right to it , after a stomach flu or food poisoning and pretty dehydrated due to losing fluid through diarrhea I thought a few days of being back to normal i'll be fine.
Im not and have not been for the past 10 days , fatigue is the worst I've experienced.Soreness in every joint and muscle very shaky if I even walk for 10 or 15 mins.Almost feels like very high blood sugar but my levels are fine.

I have been to my G.P & he suggested low potassium after the diarrhea , so I added in more potassium to my diet some eloctrolytes. No difference I still feel as weak as a kitten and just off.
He's scheduled me to get blood work on Thursday morning.Just wondering if any other Type 1 or 2 has felt like this.Google md has me dying in mere weeks haha

Years ago I had a stomach bug that absolutely wiped me out. I was ill for a week and when I first went outside for a brief walk, I felt exactly as you describe - weak as a kitten. I also felt sweaty and shaky. It took me another couple of weeks to feel totally normal.

I had some electrolyte solution, which I think helped. I also ate natural yoghurt, soup (it seemed to suit my tummy and somehow I felt I needed something a little salty, and got back to my normal diet gradually.

It's sensible to have seen your GP. All I can suggest is to keep testing your blood sugar, keep hydrated and take it very easy.

I hope you feel better soon :)

Cheers , thats good to hear. Its a major pain as I cant do the most mundane task without getting the jitters.
