Hashmoto's and T1 Diabetes Link?

Hello, I was diagnosed with Hasimoto's over a year ago, as my Blood TPO was 250, My doc said he will leave it be for now and told me to schedule appointments every 6 months, I have no symptoms but I am aware this disorder is very slow, and the symptoms will probably come soonish. My question mainly lays on having Hasimotos will it cause type1 Diabetes? I saw that people with Diabetes will often some kind of problem with the thyroid, but I don't know if it is linked and its worrisome

Hashimotos is also an auto immune disease and so does put you at slightly greater risk of other auto immune conditions like Type 1.
