I don't know how I would have felt with things if she had been 3! It was very hard in the beginning and we have had a few tough times along the way but she is so sensible and now knows no other life. Of course she has days when she says why me, but mostly she just gets on with life, thinking there are people worse off than her! Ask your DN for books on diabetes for kids, I remember one called Pete the pancreas, it was simple to understand for both of us, and she took it to school to show her teacher and the rest of the class.</p></blockquote><p></p>
