As regards test strips, the CCG's have already conpleted an exercise to move to cheaper sources. I had to change my meter because of this. The new cost limit is £10 per 50 strips ex VAT, and the meters have to meet the updated ISO standard for accuracy (2015) not the older 2013 issue,

My CCG has already stopped supplying scrips for the suggested support and OTC items unless there is an overiding medical need, as have I believe many others also did before this consultancy period even started. The NHS is preaching to the already converted it seems,
