And to whom the principle of ahimsa is a closed book that they refuse to open because it would make life more difficult for them.
If it helps I had a small tatt done about 10 days ago on the back of one hand which is totally healed, and am about to have a larger one done on my right shoulder. (Roll on payday). I don't anticipate any problems. I've been working very hard at maintaining extremely stable sugars before and after the tattoo. (Sadly I'm a tad haywire right now 'cos I have a UTI - sorry, tmi - but will be stable by the end of the month when my next and final tattoo is due.
Be sure where you are going is extremely clean! Diabetics are liable to infection, especially if the blood sugar is high because those bugs just love a sugar diet. Let your tattooist know, and ask them to be doubly sure everything is sterile for you. Also, check out every review you can find - google, facebook, tattoo sites, Instagram, everywhere.
They will give you aftercare info and it is important that you follow it. Under no circumstances pick at the tatt or wear eye make up until you're healed.
