Hay fever and blood glucose

Hi everyone,

I'm suffering from bad hay fever at the moment and have been having higher than usual BG readings upon waking (around 11 mmol/l). Wondering whether the two are related and whether anyone else has experienced this too?

hi Lisa... yes I have experienced this before too. I'd say it's because our bodies are stressed fighting allergens.

Hi Lisa, I can't say that gauge we has ever really affected my blood sugars, but everyone is different!

Yes me too. I take cetrizine hydrochloride for hay fever....hay-ho!
