Well it's that time of year again... the trees are starting to grow back their leaves and those of us who suffer with hay fever are getting a royal kick in the nose. I'm suffering already this year since tree pollen seems to get me in a really bad state.

Does anyone have any miracle hay fever tips to share? Feeling like I could really do with some right now :grumpy:

I hope someone does!!! :(

I wish there was something for hayfever. Every Spring, when the tree blossom comes out I suffer, then by about May it eases off a bit. I'm OK with grass, and flowers, except carnations!

I used to put Vaseline or similar on my nostrils to try and catch the pollen before it went up the nose. It helped a lot.

I used to get hayfever pretty badly, my main problem being itchy eyes. I had a "miracle" cure some years back but it came at the cost of a severe eye problem, for which I (still) have to take steroid (dexamethasone) eye drops, and since I started on them I've never had hayfever again.... but it's not something I'd really recommend!

I suffer from the curse of hayfever too. I take one good old fashioned piriton at bedtime every day throughout the year.
For me, the more modern antihistamines don't work, and the non-drowsy ones knock me out!

Clarityn takes the edge off the hayfever for me, but I wouldn't dare walk in the woods in the pollen season even so :(. Living on top of a hill has also helped, and once the children are off my hands I intend to move to the sea, where I always get less hayfever.
