I fell off the low carb wagon..for about 2 months. I've been back doing lowcarb for 6 weeks. I had reversed my a1c from 53 to 33. I had an a1c done yesterday and due to get results tomorrow.
My question is, is 6 week long enough to make a difference to my a1c?

When I did my original one back in 2008 I did it in 6 weeks. Can be done. Saying now it just seems a bit tougher as more weight to lose etc.
Good Luck

I know it is easily done. I just can't do it all the time either. You will find out tomorrow if it has made a different.

It's enough time to make a difference, but whether it was enough time to make a full difference? Who knows.
Hba1c covers 3 months, but is weighted towards the last few weeks so you may be lucky.
BUT rather than roller coasters of off/on with what you eat, try looking at why you eat rather then what you eat.
Jen Unwin, psychologist wife of Dr David Unwin is doing tremendous work with people on this. She has a book and a Web site call Fork in the Road thats a good place to start
Maybe she can help you find a way of eating for life thats easy to stick to, without all the angst and worry
