HBA1 results after just 2 months

Hi All
Just thought I'd share the news that my results are in - after only 2 months and with a week back on MDIs my results went from 9.2 to 8.3 :D Now I've had my share of problems adjusting to the thing but this has proved to me that the pump is the way forward and I plan to stick it out!

Thanks to all the support I've had on here too!
 
well done hun dylans improvement wasnt huge at the 2 month mark but any reduction is a start and we were pleased with ours as u should be pleased with urs

To say your only just starting out and after only two months thats pretty **** good!!

I hope your proud of yourself! Its cetyainly not easy at first and my nurse and rep both say its more common for your hba1c to actually rise in the first 3-6 months as youll still be tweaking!

Definately stick with it! Who knows where youll be in another few months :)
 
Really well done!

I have had a few HBA1c after getting my pump..and all have been better than on MDI, but only recently have they become "good". I asked my consultant, about whether there was a difference between pump patient and non pump patients HbA1c's...and he said, not really, it is the quality of life and stability that is better..ie, the average is around the same, but the swings high and low are less.

I love my pump. and it is great to hear you are doing so well!
 
Yep good results and the better results do give a better motivation to, to keep going
