Hi all,
annual review was IFCC standardised 60 mmol/mol Think I need to get a new doctors surgery. I was on 2X 500mg of metformin twice a day. Doctors then prescribed Jardiance and reduced my metformin to 1x 500mg twice a day. My diabetes has never been this badly controlled. What advice would people suggest.

Cheers all.

Hello @bluejeans98 Do you test your own blood sugar to see how different food is affecting your levels? It's always a good place to start, if you don't already do this.

Just to clarify, when did you get put on the Jardiance?

@bluejeans98 , it might be worth looking at what you eat. Could you tell us what you eat and drink in a typical day? We may be able to suggest some tweaks to improve things.

Edit to remove unnecessary info.

I didn’t get on with Metformin, nurse changed me to Jardiance. I eat quite low carb not ’No carb’ but had to almost really restrict potato, rice and past and bread etc. Numbers fluctuate and it depends on a lot variables like exercise, water, sleep, anxiety etc Drives me potty
