Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Since Xmas I've been reasonably good (mainly) and I've also been more or less continuously (up to 24 hours between sensors) wearing a Libre 1 and now a Libre 2.
The estimated HbA1c from LibreLink drifted from 5.9% up to 6.0% whilst I convince myself yet again that I shouldn't really drink beer, but it is now down to 5.9% again.
I am somewhat suspicious of this number, as my last HbA1c (after a period of refined debauchery) 6 months ago was 7.3%.
If I do get a result of 5.9% from my blood test next week I'll be wondering if Moses wandered over this way after parting the Red Sea and thought it a suitable encore.
Whatever, the estimate seems low although I would be very happy to get it confirmed.
Anyone else getting a blood test which matches their LibreLink result?
If not, by how much was it out?
I'll try and remember to update here in a couple of weeks when I have my test results back.
