Oops.

A brief look at @smahmo99 's previous posts suggests he's been T1 for ten years. I've been T1 for 50 years and I'm very happy when my hba1c goes that low.... The NHS recommendation for T1s' is 48 I believe.

If you are T1, 46 is a perfect hba1c, unless you're having hypos all the time!

What makes you unhappy with a hba1c of 46?

You've hit below the NICE guidelines. The NICE guideline for type 1 diabetes advises an HbA1c target of 48 mmol/mol (6.5%).
