After being threatened with having to go on insulin unless I started taking this seriously and with help from this Forum, have switched to low carb way of eating and cutting out all the rubbish! My HBA1C 3 months ago was 79 - dire, had results yesterday from the latest one - 53! Diabetic Nurse is very impressed and I'm over the moon, remaining on meds for the next 3 months to see how it goes then maybe can lose one of them if I maintain this kind of level - recommend the Diabetes Code by Dr Fung to help get your head round how and why to make the changes, plus cauliflower and celeriac in place of the spuds!
