Just did an accucheck test of hba1c -/bought off Amazon - I wanted to see what it was looking like before Xmas, 3 1/2 months after diagnosis. So it said 6.1 - ie 43. Just after diagnosis I was 61, so quite a bit down and have lost 23 lbs. But the libre consistently estimates at 5.1 - further out than I'd like. But pleased overall - my gp said it would be unlikely I'd get it under 50 in that time without meds. Thankyou to all of you!!!

why can't everyone get on........
the libre is fairly but not totally accurate -- it is measuring interstitial fluid ( not blood )
so there is a delay as compared to blood
the most important thing is how you feel about yourself after such amazing reductions !!!!!!!!
