HBA1C test results!!

Hi all

Thanks for the many replies that I received after feeling so fed up earlier this week with my practice nurse when I went for my second HBA1C blood test.
WELL..... Got the results back yesterday and I have gone from 7.4 down to 6.7 !!!!!!! I am delighted with this result and know that I couldn't have possibly done this without the brilliant advice from this forum. THANKS!! This just proves not only to me but to the GP and nurse that maybe I DO know what I'm doing after all!!! I will continue to keep low carbing and of course testing. Also now in a much better bargaining position to get some test strips on prescription!

That's good news Gill, you should be very pleased with that reduction in BG.

You still need to get it down a bit more so keep at it, you will find that it will keep coming down if you stick to your diet, you will then reach a point where it will level out and not drop much more.
