Hba1c tests

Went to Dr's this afternoon to book blood test and annual review to find out they are not doing any test for now due to labs being on strike
any other areas having similar problems ?

I saw it mentioned on a news item recently, so I would imagine so. Also I'm currently housebound and need a repeat blood test, but not sure if it's overdue or not, as dr's records just say 'abnormal to be repeated'.

There have been some media reports that the heatwaves are causing problems with the blood samples.

Edit: though there are also some strikes in blood labs, too.
