Hi
So had my hba1c result back - 57 not so good as last 1
Should I be worried about this result

Depends on what you and your team find acceptable :)
If it was my result I would be a bit more than upset about it but everyone has different targets.

How long have you been on a pump is this your first A1c since being on a pump all this makes a difference in how to view the result.

Hi @Jessd - personally if is was my result I'd be over the moon, my last one was 62 and since I was diagnosed 4 years ago the best I've ever got is 57.

Don't let these results affect you, they are there to guide you and to take action if necessary to take steps to adjust, review your management and just keep you on track.

Stay positive you are doing a grand job ;)

Carbsrok- what would be an acceptable number
Been on the pump a longtime (8/9 years)

Well if you are happy with your A1c and your team is as well then that's all that counts :)
I was told by my GP 6.2 was sailing a bit to close to the wind and 6.4 - 6.7 for me personally was acceptable/ideal A good friend functions better at 7.5 has no complications and been type 1 for about 46 years.
