Hello everyone, I have just passed my 6 month point since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and my HBA1C results from friday were, 35 (5.3%) over the moon and was wondering if anyone else out there has had similar results

Well done. Having read from other people with T1 you may be asked to raise your A1c at your next review (rightly or wrongly, I am T2 so have little knowledge on this new advice being given).

Congratulations well done, yes, two weeks ago similar and same as yourself, with exception not Diabetic1, same result for pre Diabetic no medications only low carb exercise changes, /A1C 5% lab doctor result testing, and my A1C now home test taken same morning at home showed 5.3% both normal and non diabetic range, doctor noted on medical records non pre diabetic, now normal/non diabetic range. Have a lovely day and pat yourself on the back for passing your 6 month point.

My last one was in the 30s. However everything is a bit chaotic numbers wise at the moment so my next is likely to be higher.

Are you having many hypo's? Eating very low carb? Or do you have some other trick you wish to reveal? Any way, congratulations and keep up the good work!

I don’t do anything special I was scared my A1C was going to be high when I went for my check up, and as for hypos I probably have one a week at most I’m very hypo aware and can usually feel them coming on around the 4.5 point

You should keep in mind that you may still be in the honeymoon phase which might mitigate some highs.
